I need to learn more HTML to make that happen. { } My name is Lu Mar and I created this website as a place to practice my creative writing. My first written account was about a fight I had in 1959 while in the 8th grade. My Mom had heard about the fight and called the Vice-Principal. He called us all into the office and handed each of us a sheet of paper. He said, "write down everything that happened." After everyone finished they handed the paper back to the Vice-Principal. Everyone handed back their paper quickly. I was the last one done. They wrote, "Louie and Donny got into a fight, they hit each other and wrastled, Louie lost." I filled both sides of the paper and finished with, "I laid on the ground with my eyes closed, so no one knew that I was crying. A girl stood over me and said, " Don't cry kid, you will make a fighter someday." After the Vice-Principal's lecture, he made us all shake hands and said, "If you guys are in my office again, I will expell all of you." That was the last time I ever had a fight. Somehow I had decided, if I can't win fights I am better off if I just laugh when someone tries to insult me. I am learning how to write as I experiment. I am watching YouTube videos of aspiring and well trained authors. Each one unique and helpful. I am also learning basic HTML coding by watching YouTube creators for ideas on how to create web pages. It is easy to find a video series that matches my ability level. Both activities, writing for and building a web site, come with difficulties but not impossibile problems. Each problem can be overcome with a litte research, patience and lots of time. On a warm summer night in July, in the year of 1946 I got my start. When I was born, the umbilical cord was wrapped around my neck. Mom told me that it was Dad's fault because he made Mom lift plywood to help him improve the house. ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ...
