Story?"  The one with        
Scrooge and Cratchet?        
It was written by            
Charles Dickens.             


He also wrote  the book,      
"David Copperfield."          


But first there is a          
story related to the          
book titled, "David           
Copperfield.                  


Back in 1975, I picked        
our Son up from school        
and he asked, "Dad, how       
can  I be rich?  I need       
money, lots of it."           


"You need water,  
you need air. 

You Want money, 
lots  of  it."  


"I know - - I know that       
is so  obvious.  I just      
want to know the secret      
of getting  rich." 


" W o r k    h a r d "    


"That  is  no  secret."


"R I G H T ! ! !"


"Here  is  the  final  
answer."

 
"Spend Less     
Than You Make."


The Charles  Dickens 
quote of 1849 is below;


“Annual income twenty 
pounds, annual expen-
diture nineteen six, 
result happiness.    

Annual income twenty 
pounds, annual expen-
diture twenty pound  
ought and six,       
result misery.”      

"spend less 
    than     
you make"

is easier to remember.
